ABOUT ME
Since 2000, I have provided clinical counselling and therapeutic support in a number of settings to adults, children and adolescents. I work with individuals and families in establishing their own goals for therapy and provide support in defining the objectives for meeting those goals. I have experience in cross-cultural work in minority communities.
I have worked in Children’s Mental Health where I completed comprehensive psychosocial, emotional and behavioural assessments and provided treatment recommendations. I supported families in psychiatric consultations and provided understanding of the day to day implications of psychological diagnoses. I provided individual, family and group therapeutic support to children, youth and their families in the psychiatric unit and outpatient clinic of the Brampton Civic Hospital. I currently work in a high school providing individual and group therapeutic services for teenagers and their parents.
